Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the martial arts or horror genres. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action films with a morbid fascination. After gaining some fame through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) She began to review in late 2009. The site remained active until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She appeared on many shows on Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
