Commercially, the film had the highest level of commercial success. The budget was more than ten times what it made. It was also well-received by critics. She reprised her part in all the three sequels of the movie. After playing the lead role in Friends the film, she ascended to new levels of fame. Her work was acknowledged with several nominations and awards. The show aired for ten years. The actress also had a role as a support in the film Mothers and Daughters. She has won several prizes, including The TV Guide Award and Golden Derby Award.
